Sandwiched!!!

Date: Jan 16th, 2011

Location: Persiaran Tujuan besides USJ 2

Time: 4.30pm

My fragile Proton Wira was sandwiched between Mitsubishi Triton and Proton Gen 2!!!

Ezekiel and I was on our way to church for basketball training. We stopped at Persiaran Tujuan, waiting for green light. As the traffic light turns green, the Proton Gen 2 in front of us accelerated and so were we.. Shortly and out of a sudden, the Gen 2 braked and came to a halt, of cos, we also braked and stopped.. As the braking was very sudden, the distance between the Gen 2 and my car was really close.. These two Protons managed to stop but 2bad, the Mitsubishi Triton behind us did not stop and hit my car!! Both of us were flung to the front but thank God we buckled up our seat belts just minutes before the accident.. As my car was very close to the Gen 2, it hit the Gen 2 as well..

The pictures show how my car looks like:

My car suffer the most damages while the Gen 2 and Triton only had some scratches and very light damages on its bumper.. This shows that Proton Wira is kinda paria i call it Milo Tin car.. Haha..

After the accident, we stopped at a side to negotiate, at the same time i called my dad.

The Gen 2 driver came down and had a look on his car.. He said it's ok and after passing me his name card, he drove away..

Meanwhile, the MT driver kept on saying sorry and mentioned that she'll compensate on all the losses.. Including the front part (which will be claimed under my car insurance if we make report). Later we found out that she is actually involved in recon car business which is related to car workshop.. So we followed her to her recon car showroom, negotiated and left my car there..

The results:

She will compensate on all the losses (the front and the back part of my car). Good!

She will ask her workshop ppl to fix it, paint it and return it 2 me in 1 week. Very Good!

She will lend us a car if they fail to repair it on time (maybe she can lend me the Rolls Royce in her show room!?!?).. Kekekeke... Super Good!!

She will give us massive discounts if we buy a recon car from her. I rmb her son, which is ard 5 told us this: "Buy a Porsche la.." LOL.. :) :) If i ever buy a Porsche, Shakelingamly Good!!!

Although I lost my car 4 a week, I wanna give thanks to the ONE above for watching over us so that none of us is hurt.. And of cos, thankful cos the MT driver is willing to compensate on all the losses.. :)

Things I like and dislike about Serdang, Kedah

Things I dislike:

The cows

• There are cows everywhere. No disrespect to them, I like their meat, but I don like their shits/cow dung. They poo everywhere and I have to use my skills to avoid running over it. Besides that, they move very slowly, always blocking the roads..
  
  

The lizards

• Yes I do know that lizards are good. They eat all the insects in our house, but.... they also poo!! In fact, they poo everywhere, even on my bed.. Every time before I sleep I have to make sure my bed is free from lizards' poo. Otherwise, it's gonna get dirty.
  

The monkeys

• Ok monkeys, I don't mind if you all hanging around at my yard, but please don't touch my car!!! When I was back from work, my car was full of dirt and sands. On top of that, my front passenger's window visor is torn off. The monkeys were partying on my car, dirtying my car and tearing off the window visor but that's not all, they even pee-d on my car!!! Ish ish. Monkeys you better watch out.
  
  

The roads

• Driving here is dangerous, especially during night time. No street lights but thank God my car lights are bright enough. I saw some ppl riding bicycle and motor bikes which have no lights, alone!! Kudos to them cos I'll never do dat.. It's way too creepy.
  

The internet

• No internet access in my estate house. Nowadays I usually go on9 once or twice in a week, and it is 25km away from my estate house..
  

Entertainment

• No yum cha, no pool centre, no cinema, no bowling… Haih…
  

Things I like:

Cheap food

• RM2.20 for a plate of wan ton mee. RM3.00 for 1 roti canai, 1 roti planta, 1 nasi lemak and 1 teh tarik. There's no way I can find that in Subang.

Flexible working hour

• My working hour is from 7am to 5pm. It seems very long but I do have two break times, an hour for breakfast, an hour and a half for lunch. On top of that, I can break any time I want.
  

Relaxing environment

• This place is really relaxing. The people here are more laid back and less stressful.
  

The traffic

• So far I have not encounter any traffic jam here.
  

The people

• My boss, his assistants, the staffs and workers are nice ppl. They taught me a lot of things and they are quite generous. Especially my boss, his assistants and their friends.
  

The church

• Glory to the Lord. Grateful that I found a nice church here, thanks to my youth pastor. I've met a lot of new friends here and they are very nice people.
  

Unpredictable week...

What an eventful week with many spontaneous ideas, trips and meals.. I must say that it had been a good week although bad things do happen in between, i'm glad that i have nothing to regret.

I found one very suitable term to describe my past week, FIFA World Cup 2010. The reason is, many unexpected things happened. I could not predict the score, the winner, just as i could not predict the things happened in this week.

Undecided... Aiks...

My exam is over! It marks the end of my first half uni life.. Well, if u do not know, i'm taking a degree course in mechanical engineering and the course duration is 4 years. On 14th of May, i took the last paper of year two and now it's break time!

I love semester break, i get to sleep as much as i want and i can do plenty of things. In fact, i had list down things to do during my break which include cut my hair, wash my car, workout, tidy up my room, watch movies, yum cha with frns and so on. The one i waited the most was to go for a vacation!! For most of the time i'll be excited, but not this time as the place i wanted to go is - THAILAND.

A few months back i'd booked the air tickets to Thailand with Keane, our plan was to stay thr for 1 week. At 22nd of May, we will depart from Penang to Bangkok. At 26th, we will leave Bangkok for Phuket and return to KL on 29th.

As u know, Bangkok is at a messy state now where the Red Shirt protesters are trying to overturn the current Abhisit-led goverment, leading to confrontations between the Thai army troops and protestors. Those are not minor confrontations, people had died in the process and the latest, as The Star reported, had 17 people killed and many more wounded.

So, should i go? Or not? I'm still undecided.

Yup, the figures are correct. I'm officially 22. Some said i'm old, but i don mind. I think i'm getting more matured instead. Haha paiseh. Now, let me recall what happened in the past week...

29th March - I GOT A FEELING

Yup i got a feeling my church frns will come and celebrate with me. Not very sure with my feelings but for safety reasons, i decided to clean up my room. Just in case they suprise me when im asleep. Haha. Thank God they din't suprise me and chose to do it in a more peaceful way, by ringing my doorbell and came in to celebrate with me..

30th March - HOI TONG STEAMBOAT

Celebrated with a few of my coursemates in Hoi Tong, somewhere in Serdang. It's a BBQ + Steamboat Buffet restaurant.. The food there is nice, plenty of it for us to choose from and the price is reasonable, RM22 for an adult if not mistaken.. Had a great time there, we ate from 5 til 9pm.. Not bad huh...

31st March -LUCKY DAY

Went bowling in Wangsa Walk and i got this.................

HOOYAH!!! 5 strikes, 3 spares, a turkey and my BEST score ever.. I guess it's my birthday luck.. Haha.. Or mayb some1's luck instead? No1 knows.. Keke..

1st April - PRESENTATION

Moral presentation.. Was not nervous about it, i guess i'm really used to presenting stuffs.. On top of that, it's jus moral.. Glad our group presented quite well, everything went as planned.. The moments captured after presentation..

2 weeks into holiday..

Sudah 2 minggu saya ber-holiday..

Dalam dua minggu ini, ada hari yang sangat bosan dan juga hari yang exciting sekali..

Hari ini, jelaslah adalah hari yang lebih membosankan kerana saya sedang menulis blog menggunakan Bahasa Malaysia yang saya kurang familiar...

Blur me..

Lately, i'm very blur, thanks to the final exam which used up my brain juice. This was wat happened:

After the Numerical & Stats paper, i went to Taman Melati Mcd, Setapak to have lunch with my coursemates. I found a place 2 sit and put my bag on another chair. So we chit chat, makan, den leave Mcd.

About 30 minutes later, i reached home. I opened the car door and noticed that my bag was not wif me! Wat!?!?

Thinkin: Eh! Where's my bag? Dam! I left it in Taman Melati Mcd.. Ish ish..

No choice 4 me, but 2 drive all the way back to Setapak.. Thank God the bag was stil there, although it was moved to another chair.. I opened and checked, everythin's stil inside, good!

Conclusion?
One of the 'blur-est' day of my life. Had to travel 35km to get back the bag, and another 35km to get home..

Anyway, gtg. As usual, sleep 1st, study later.. 2 more paper 2 go! 3months holiday! Yes!

NO MORE!

Finally, the days of having tests, assignments and lab reports are all over.. Haha.. What a relieve!

NO MORE stress..

NO MORE! At least for these 2 days.. After dat, have to prepare for final exam lo...

Bad Parking Spot!

Today, as usual, i parked my car beside the masjid at TBR.

Is not that i like 2 park my car there,

it's bcos thr is no where else 4 me 2 park.

After attending classes,

i walked towards my car

(5-10minutes walking distance, depends on speed).

I saw a few DBKL ppl cutting grass by the road.

My 1st thought:

"Better keep a distance,

cos small stones might fly and hit me!"

So i kept my distance.

I'm back!

After 2 weeks of MIA in the internet world, I'm very proud to announce that

There are several reasons for me being MIA:

1st

Pc and connection problems..

In the past 2 weeks, my server hanged for about 3/4 times.. I called streamyx for quite a few times in just 2 weeks time.. The answer i got were all the same.. Hang here hang thr..

2nd

For the past 2 weeks, i had been busy planning for my church's youth camp.. It was on 5th - 8th July..

How was it?

Wonderful! I think it was a blast.. I believe everyone gave their 100% during the camp.. 100% in games, 100% in preaching, 100% in performing, 100% in playing, etc..

Year 2 Sem 1 of my studies had just begun.. In this sem, there will be a total of 18 credit hours, which is the highest among all semesters.. I bet this sem would be a tough 1..

Was kinda disappointed with my previous results.. Although i din't fail any, but i din't score either..

Hopefully, i can get at least 3.0 for this sem.. I would not mind getting anything higher then that.. Haha.. Cheers ;)

3 Weeks Break!

Finally, it's 3 weeks semester break.. I've been waiting 4 dis break 4 such a long time..

So wat i did in the past week?

Well, i went Malacca with UTAR SHAKELINGAM the day after the last paper..

We reached thr ard 4pm.. Went 2 eat the famous chicken rice ball, satay celup, ABC n so on..

Of cos, we did celebrate Irene's bday.. I hope she had a great time cos she keep on mention bout her bday since.. em.. since bout 2, 3 weeks ago? I 4got.. Haha.. Below are some pics..

Ok! Lately i've been super bz n super stress bcos of final exam..

In fact, i jus had Math paper dis morning..

My target?

Jus 2 pass.. Yea.. Math used 2 b my strongest subject but at this stage of studies, and due to my own laziness, my math level dropped significantly..

Dis mornin's paper was kinda ok, i think i can pass, at least i tried my best..

As being said in my msn message:

"Do the best u can, leave the results to God."

Wat i can do is very limited, futhermore i always sleep in classes, dint do tutorial questions and only start studyin at the very last minute (3days 2 study math).. Aiks.. Kinda regret dat..

Wat i can do in those 3 days?

Very very limited.. Wat i did was 2 try my best n do watever i can.. Those can not b done, i'll jus pray n leave it 2 God.. Same goes 4 my results.. Cheers ;)

Now, i left 1 more paper - SOLID MECHANICS! I've about 40 hours 2 study 4 it (40hours include eat n sleep).. Haha.. I think i'll hv 2 end my post here n go study SOLID MECHANICS!

28th march - 60 Earth Hour
Got a suprise bday celebration, dint expect my youth frns 2 celebrate it wif me on dat nite.. Thanks ya..

29th march - Ching Ming
Got a suprise gift from youth frns, a running shoes!!! WooHoo.. Really unexpected! The colour of the shoes? Yellow! But, i'll name it as The Golden Shoes.. Haha..

30th march - Shakelingam Day
The actual day of my bday! Went 2 uni.. Attended tutorial n lecture..
Got a suprise celebration in lecture hall durin the last 15minutes of Dynamics lecture..

31st march - End of the month
Slept 4 the whole day, woke up at 3pm 2 study math.. Aiks.. Mid-term test on 1st of April, the nex day.


1st april - April Fool day
I stayed up til 3am, went 2 bed feeling uncomfortable. Woke up at 5 somethin, vomited! Woke up at 8 somethin, vomited again! I cant rmb when was the last time i vomited.. Aiks.. Went 2 c doc.
The doc says:"Ur 2 stress d, causing ur stomach 2 b very acidic.. As a result, u vomit out all the food u ate.."
Aiks.. I nv know stress wil cause some1 2 vomit.. After eating the med, slept 4 whole day, woke up n go take math test at 4.30pm..
At nite ,went 2 watch Shinjuku Incident.. Not a bad movie but kinda wasted cos some scenes are cut! 2 violent? Shd hv bought DVD instead..


2nd april - Sleep
Slept whole day.. Nite, go watch Fast n Furious 4.. Shakelingam! Cars + Girls..


3rd april - Sleep + Test Run
Slept again.. Went 4 a short jog, wearing new shoes.. The shoes kinda comfy.. Good shoes! Thanks man..

Life..

I look at the time (5.30am) and think:'Ok! It's time for me to............. SLEEP!' Haih.. Stayed up all nite + morning jus 2 finish up my Dynamics assignment.. Keep on drawing diagrams and typing equations dat I don quite understand.. The fact is dat i hvn study and as a result, i did wat most of the students did - COPY! Ok, a better word, jus 2 make REFERENCE!.

Feel kinda bad cos dis sem keep on copy assignments, copy notes, copy reports, copy copy copy.. Suddenly, i remember this story......

In 1996, Peter Davies was on holiday in Kenya after graduating from Northwestern University.

While skating through the bush, he came across a young bull elephant resting atop a gnar half-pipe with a black bird sitting on it's head. The elephant seemed pretty bummed out, so Peter approached it very carefully.

He climbed up the huge ramp and inspected the elephant's foot and found a large piece of wood deeply embedded in it. As carefully and as gently as he could, Peter worked the wood out with his hunting knife, after which the elephant gingerly put down its foot. The elephant turned to face the man, and with a rather curious look on its face, stared at him for several tense moments. Peter stood frozen, thinking of nothing else but being pushed off the ramp and perhaps the small amount of urine discharging from his bladder. Eventually the elephant trumpeted loudly, dropped in, and proceeded to bust out some sweet K-town air. Peter never forgot that elephant or the events of that day.

Ten years later, Peter was walking through the Chicago Zoo with his half-retarded son. As they approached the elephant enclosure, one of the creatures turned and walked over to near where Peter and his son(Cam) were standing. The large bull elephant stared at Peter, lifted its front foot off the ground, then put it down. The elephant did that several times then trumpeted loudly, all the while staring at the man.

Remembering the encounter in 1996, Peter couldn't help wondering if this was the same elephant!?! Peter summoned up his courage, climbed over the railing and made his way into the enclosure. He walked right up to the elephant and stared back in wonder. The elephant trumpeted again, wrapped its trunk around one of Peter legs and slammed his stupid ass against the railing, killing him instantly.

Probably wasn't the same elephant.

Hua Bing's car ran out of petrol.. So, as a frn, as a heng dai, as a bro in christ, as a superman, i went 2 help him.. Haha..
